Three packages: $149, $179 and $219 a person, and those prices already include tax and gratuity. Add a site fee, which ranges from $4,500 to $9,500 depending on your date, room, guest count and package, and a one-time ceremony fee if you marry here. Yes. There are two waterfront ceremony spaces: the Marine Room's side patio, with the river as your backdrop and Belle Isle on the horizon ($2,750), and the Palm River deck with its white arbor and the long boardwalk to walk down ($3,850). The fee covers guest arrival, a 30-minute ceremony, a rehearsal, chairs and setup, and a weather backup plan.
The Club seats up to 55, the Marine Room up to 300 and the Palm River Room up to 800. Compare the three rooms.
Dinner is plated or buffet on Packages One and Two. Package Three is a dual plated dinner: salmon and chicken, or filet and chicken. Packages Two and Three add passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, and Package Three adds a late-night round of coney dogs, Detroit-style pizza, a pretzel wall or fries. Dietary needs are accommodated, and halal is available. See the full menu.
We do it. The Roostertail has its own executive chef and its own bar program, and everything served here comes out of our kitchen. One team runs the food, the bar and the room.
Package One runs 4.5 hours and Packages Two and Three run 5 hours. Cocktail hour is the first hour of that window, not an extra hour on top. A ceremony held here adds an hour in front. See a full reception timeline.
The latest end time is 11 PM. Going to midnight is possible for an added charge.
100 Marquette Drive, Detroit, on the east riverfront beside the marina, just west of the bridge to Belle Isle and a short drive from downtown along Jefferson Avenue. Parking is free, in our own private lot on site.
