Good to know

How much does a company holiday party cost?

Special-event packages run $69, $75, $91 and $99 a person. Each covers a 4-hour event, 3.5 hours of beverage service and cake cutting. Packages 1 and 3 are stationed hot appetizers, 2 and 4 are a plated or buffet dinner, and Packages 3 and 4 include an open bar. Sales tax of 6 percent, a 24 percent gratuity and the room rental are added to the per-person price.

What if our team is too small for a private room?

Christmas at the Tail is the shared night: December 9, 10 and 17, 2026, at $169 a person all-inclusive, with an open premium bar, chef-attended dinner stations, a live band upstairs and a DJ in the lobby. Reservations are taken at catt.roostertail.com.

How many guests can a private holiday party have?

From a team of 55 in The Club to 300 in the Marine Room and 800 in the Palm River Room.

Is the building decorated for the holidays?

Yes, inside and out. Past Decembers have brought a gingerbread replica of the building, white trees up the lobby staircase, emerald linens under paper lanterns and a carving station under string lights.

Do you do the catering, or do we bring a caterer?

We do it. The Roostertail has its own executive chef and its own bar program, and everything served here comes out of our kitchen. One team runs the food, the bar and the room.

Where is The Roostertail, and is there parking?

100 Marquette Drive, Detroit, on the east riverfront beside the marina, just west of the bridge to Belle Isle and a short drive from downtown along Jefferson Avenue. Parking is free, in our own private lot on site.
