Roostertail Staff Alerts

Roostertail Staff Alerts is a text-message program for the people who run events at The Roostertail, 100 Marquette Drive, Detroit. It is for Roostertail employees only. We do not text guests, clients or the public through it, and we never text anyone who has not signed up.

What staff receive

Work messages from RCMS, our internal event system, and its automated assistants: event and schedule changes, new bookings, task reminders and day-of updates. For example:

• Roostertail: The Saturday wedding moved from the Marine Room to the Palm River Room. Updated event sheet is in RCMS. Reply STOP to opt out.
• Roostertail: New booking. Holiday party, Fri 12/11, 120 guests in the Club. Details in RCMS.
• Roostertail: Kitchen update for tonight. Guest count is now 186 (was 180) and 4 more vegetarian plates are needed.

How staff sign up

Staff join by texting the word JOIN from their own phone to the Roostertail Staff Alerts number:

Signing up is optional and never a condition of employment. We keep a record of each sign-up text: the number, the time and the word sent.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any text. You will get one confirmation and no more texts. Text JOIN or START to rejoin. Reply HELP for help, or reach us at info@roostertail.com or (313) 822-1234.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies, usually a few texts a week and more on event days. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number
